// How are You Born Again?

First recognize that you have done wrong things in your life.  The Bible calls this sin. We all are sinners, and the Bible says that the penalty for sin is eternal death and separation from God. (Romans 3:23)

But because God loves us He sent Jesus to pay the debt we could never pay (John 3:16, Romans 6:23).  There is nothing we can do to earn the right to become born again, it is a free gift from God. (Ephesians 2:8-10)  When we accept this gift, God wipes our slate clean and calls us eternally His child.  We are never separated from Him again. (Romans 8:39-39)

You can pray right now and accept God’s gift of salvation: “Dear Jesus, thank you for loving me.  I believe you died on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive me and come into my life.  Help me to learn more about you.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
